Amanda Griesheimer was elected to the board of directors in January 2014.
Griesheimer grew up in Hardin, Illinois and is a graduate of Calhoun High School in Hardin. She attended Southeast Missouri State University before moving to Washington, Missouri in 2006. Griesheimer was hired as the Chamber/Fair Assistant for the Washington Area Chamber of Commerce in 2008. After working as an assistant to the farmers market supervisor for 3 years, Griesheimer took over the position of supervisor in early 2012. Later in the year, she was promoted to Director of Marketing for the Chamber of Commerce. She now oversees the marketing efforts for all four divisions of the Chamber – the Town & Country Fair, License Office, Tourism Department, and Chamber of Commerce – while continuing her role with the Farmers’ Market. She currently serves on the board of directors for the Four Rivers Family YMCA.
Griesheimer lives in Washington, Missouri with her husband, Aaron, and their two children, Dayton and Tucker.
